Vale Groups

vale groups

Here at Vale, we understand the importance of intentionally connecting in community and we have many great options for you to choose from!

Whether that is going through Rooted, joining one of our many small groups, or signing up for a course, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get plugged in here at the church.

At this time, many of our small groups are wrapping up and then taking a break for the holiday season. By filling out this form you will be placed on a list to be notified as soon as our new online directory is up and running.

If you don’t want to wait to get connected and would like to see if there are any small groups still going that you can jump into, please fill out this form!

We look forward to getting you connected in community here at Vale Church!

If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out to Hilary Pacha, our Small Groups Associate at group@vale.church.

frequently asked questions

Each Group is unique, but most involve food, real talk, and learning to follow Jesus together. Some do topical studies or Bible studies. Others engage with the weekly sermon/messages or do video Bible studies on RightNow media. Groups are encouraged to engage the community together, serving others. You will be building authentic community and friendship as you pursue God together.

Most Groups meet in homes, out in the community, to create the warm, relaxed environment that leads to great conversation.

Vale doesn't offer childcare for Groups. However, some Groups share the responsibility of arranging their own childcare by finding sitters or making other arrangements. Some Groups include children while they meet.

Groups meet on different days and times throughout the week. The frequency might vary by season, but we encourage meeting weekly to give real opportunity to grow together.

We follow a "trimester" pattern, with new groups launching in September, January, and April. Summer schedules vary by group, and some groups "pause" to engage in on-campus summer courses or meet less frequently due to vacation/activity schedules, launching new studies with the fall session.

Great question! We want to help you find a great "fit", so if the first experience doesn't meet your needs, please let us know. With a wide variety of groups to choose from, it's okay to consider your first step a "test drive", with the option to change if you wish. We are here to help!
